时间要求: This position is for full-time employment. Security operates 24/7, 365 days a year, regardless of holidays. As a officer you may have to work holidays. Security Guards / Officers work 12 hour shifts ( 7a-7p, 7p-7a ). Every 56 days day shift rotates to night shift and night shift rotates to day shift. Duty hours may change with little notice. Security guards/officers may expect frequent overtime to cover department personnel absences due to vacation, 病假, 培训, or other reasons as approved by the 巡逻的上司.
Summary Description: Works under general supervision, is responsible for institutional and related security work of average difficulty; and performs related work as required. Security guards/officers serve as a liaison to local, 状态, and federal law enforcement officers, emergency management agencies, and University leadership at all levels. This position is armed or unarmed at the discretion of the 巡逻的上司 of 公共安全.
Functional Description:

- This is an entry-working class position in the security guard sub-series. Security guards/officers may be assigned to work any shift, providing a full range of institutional and other security activities, such as protecting people and buildings.

经验: Law Enforcement, Military or prior security work preferred.
